Una guida per andare alla scoperta del Passo Stelvio, il valico più alto d’Europa che fa da spartiacque tra le Alpi Retiche occidentali e quelle orientali. Segna il confine tra le province di Sondrio e Bolzano mettendo in comunicazione la Lombardia con l’Alto Adige. Fra le cime di queste montagne sono state scritte alcune delle pagine più importanti delle guerre mondiali ma oggi lo Stelvio deve la sua importanza al turismo soprattutto per la pratica dello sci estivo.

English version of the book dedicated to the Stelvio Pass. A guide to discover the Stelvio Pass, the highest pass in Europe which acts as a watershed between the western and eastern Rhaetian Alps. It marks the border between the provinces of Sondrio and Bolzano, connecting Lombardy with Alto Adige. Some of the most important pages of the world wars were written among the peaks of these mountains but today the Stelvio owes its importance to tourism, especially for summer skiing.
